The Dolce & Gabbana Fall/Winter collection for 2013 drew their inspiration from the golden mosaics of Sicily's Cathedral of Monreale. A romanticized version of the religious aesthetic, various fabrics were sent down then runway offering a variety of textures while still remaining thought out, cohesive and sophisticated. The feminine appeal included hot bottoms, lace, cutouts and showed off plenty of leg. Prints were used in a classy, downplayed way and many styles were topped off with a golden crown. Looking forward to the collection hitting stores in the Fall.
